More About Kristi

I am a picture book writer, animal lover, and believe that life is better with a bit of laughter. 

I’ve always gravitated towards a creative environment. After graduating from Syracuse University’s School of Communications, I spent almost a decade at a Boston advertising agency. Eventually, I left to spend more time with my family and it’s then I decided to pursue something very close to my heart – my own individual stories.

I currently live in Massachusetts with my husband, son, daughter, and six fur-family members. My passion is writing picture books that mix animal facts with fun. I also cannot pass up a beautiful sunset, am never without a book, and have been known to rescue every bug that wanders into my house. My debut picture book, ALPACAS MAKE TERRIBLE LIBRARIANS (Gnome Road Publishing), is scheduled to be released in September 2024 with the sequel, OWLS MAKE TERRIBLE TEACHERS, to follow in Spring 2026. I am represented by Elisa Houot at The Seymour Agency.
